Among other things, you may visit the Museum of Local History, in order to discover how the daily life of a simple workhand looked like 100 years ago. The carefully furnished rooms reflect the ancient ways of life in the kitchen, bedchamber, and the so-called “Gute Stube” – the parlour. One room shows a traditional shoemaker’s workshop. The Museum of Local History can be visited only during the summer months. The entry is free of charge with the Reit im Winkl Inclusive Card.
