The winter sports area Reit im Winkl is considered one of the most beautiful cross-country skiing areas in the entire region of Bavaria. Well-groomed trails await you from Reit im Winkl to Ruhpolding, as well as Kaiserwinkl/Tyrol. More than 50 kilometres of groomed ski slopes and another 175 kilometres of cross-country trails are waiting for you during your skiing holiday in Reit im Winkl. The quiet ski resort is located close to our Guesthouse Schmiederer. The superb slopes are connected to each other and allow consistent as well as long descents.

At an altitude of 1869 meters, you will find the ski area Winklmoos / Steinplatte. While the downhill slopes in the vicinity of the mountain peak are mainly reserved for advanced ski fans, beginners can enjoy the gentle and less steep slopes. These are located close to the lower ski lifts. Thus, your children may enjoy a safe skiing experience.

Whether you are traveling with or without a private car, the ski area Reit im Winkl can be reached at any time using the local bus. The local bus is available in the winter months from December to mid-March. The bus serves the quarters Dorf, Entfelden, Groißenbach and Blindau. Thanks to the RVO ski bus, you also have the opportunity to easily reach the valley station of the cable car Winklmoosalm / Steinplatte in Seegatterl. This service is free of charge.
